🎛️ Loading Tracks

• Click the button on each deck to open your library
• Search by title or artist name
• Choose between Library (all tracks) or Crates (playlists)

▶️ Playback Controls

• Play/Pause - Click the play button or use keyboard
• Time Scrubber - Drag the slider below the waveform to seek
• Click on Waveform - Jump to any position in the track

🎯 CUE Button (Hold & Release)

• Hold CUE - Plays from cue point (preview mode)
• Release CUE - Returns to cue point
• Right-click while holding - Track continues playing!
• Right-click while playing - Sets cue point at current position!
• Set cue point - Pause at a position, then press CUE

🔗 SYNC Button

• Click once - Syncs BPM to the other deck
• Click while synced - Re-syncs (if tracks drifted)
• Double-click quickly - Turns sync OFF
• Right-click - Beat match! Aligns beats with the other deck

🎚️ Pitch/Tempo Control

• Pitch Slider - Adjust speed (-50% to +50%)
• Key Lock - Change tempo WITHOUT changing pitch
• BPM display updates to show effective BPM

🎛️ Mixer Controls

• Volume - Per-deck volume control
• EQ (High/Mid/Low) - Shape the sound
• Crossfader - Blend between decks
• Master - Overall output volume

🎚️ Crossfader Assign (X-Fader)

• A - Assign deck to crossfader side A (left). Volume controlled by crossfader position.
• B - Assign deck to crossfader side B (right). Volume controlled by crossfader position.
• THRU - Bypass crossfader. Deck always plays at full volume regardless of crossfader position.
• Default: Deck 1 = A, Deck 2 = B, Decks 3 & 4 = THRU (auxiliary decks).
• Tip: Use THRU for samples, loops, or a third track layered over your mix.

⬅️➡️ Crossfader autofade

• Enable autofade to automatically fade out the outgoing deck when you move the crossfader.
• Useful for smooth transitions without manually lowering the channel fader.
• When autofade is on, moving the crossfader past the center starts fading the other deck.
• Adjust the curve in settings for faster or slower fade.

🎹 Hot Cues (CUE 1-4)

• First click - Sets a hot cue at current position
• Click again - Jumps to that hot cue
• Great for marking drops, breakdowns, or vocal entries

🔁 Loop Controls (4, 8, 16, 32)

• Click a number - Sets a loop of that many beats
• Click again - Disables the loop
• Loop length is calculated from the track's BPM
• Great for extending breakdowns or building tension

🎚️ Stem Mixer

AI-powered stem separation lets you control individual parts of any track.

• Click the stem mixer icon on a deck to open stem controls
• Separate stems: Vocals, Drums, Bass, Other (melody/instruments)
• Adjust volume, mute, or solo each stem independently
• Export your stem mix or apply it back to the deck
• Load stems from your library or from the stem picker.
• Each deck can play a full track or an individual stem (e.g. vocals, drums).
• Mix stems from different tracks for creative mashups.
• Stems are listed under the track in the library.
• Use the stem icon on a track to load a specific stem to a deck.
• Stem levels can be adjusted with the channel EQ and fader.
• Export your stem mix using the record or export option.
• Compatible with 4-stem and 5-stem tracks in your library.
• For best results, use stems from the same key or compatible keys.

💾 Mixer state

Your recent session:

• The mixer remembers your deck assignments, crossfader position, and loaded tracks.
• When you return, you can resume where you left off or start fresh.
• Session data is stored locally for 30 minutes.

⌨️ Keyboard Shortcuts

📊 Visual Indicators

• Waveform - Shows audio levels across the track
• Position Line - White line shows current playback position
• VU Meters - Show real-time audio output level
• Time Display - Current time, remaining time, and total duration
• When visualizer overlay is open: B / G = previous/next style, T / Y = speed up/down, ` = random (keys do not conflict with DJ console)
• Visualizers react to the master output.

🔌 MIDI Controller (Pioneer DDJ-SB3)

• Click the USB icon to connect your controller
• Requires HTTPS and browser permission
• Supports play, cue, pitch, EQ, volume, and crossfader

🎧 Headphone Preview

Preview the next track on headphones while the current track plays on speakers!

• Step 1: Click the OFF button in the header (next to the headphone icon) to turn it ON
• Step 2: (Optional) Select your headphone device from the dropdown
• Step 3: Load a track on any deck (Deck 1, 2, 3, or 4)
• Step 4: While another track is playing, hold the CUE button on the deck with the track you want to preview
• Result: You'll hear the preview in your headphones while the main track continues on speakers!

🔌 Input/Output Settings

• Click the I/O button in the header to open audio device settings
• Select different devices for Main Output, Headphones, and Aux Output
• Connect microphone or aux input for live audio sources
• Refresh button re-scans for new audio devices

🔊 Channel Mode (Pro Audio)

Professional audio interfaces often have mono outputs. Use channel mode to configure how audio is routed.

• Stereo: Stereo - Normal L+R stereo output (default)
• Mono (L+R): Mono (L+R) - Sum both channels to mono with -3dB compensation
• Left Only: Left Only - Output only the left channel to both speakers
• Right Only: Right Only - Output only the right channel to both speakers

➕ Additional Outputs (PRO)

For professional multi-output audio interfaces, add up to 4 extra outputs.

• Click "+ Add Output" to create a new output channel
• Select which device each output routes to
• Choose the source: Master Mix, Headphone/Cue, or individual Decks 1-4
• Each output has independent channel mode and volume
• Name your outputs for easy identification

🎨 Visualizer

• Click the visualizer button to open the full-screen visual overlay
• Multiple visualization styles: bars, waveform, particles, and more

• Use keyboard shortcuts while overlay is open: B/G = prev/next style, T/Y = speed

🎹 Sampler Pads

• Click any sampler pad to trigger the loaded sample
• Right-click a pad to load a new sample from your library
• Adjust individual sample volumes with the volume control
• Samples play instantly on click - no latency

⏺️ Recording

• Click REC to start recording your mix
• The timer shows how long you've been recording
• Click STOP when finished to save or download
• Saved sets appear on your artist profile

🔈 Sonos Streaming

• Cast your DJ mix to connected Sonos speakers
• Click the Sonos icon in the header to connect
• Select which Sonos group/room to stream to
• Audio streams in real-time with minimal latency

📡 Live Broadcasting

• Stream your DJ set live to listeners worldwide
• Click the broadcast icon to start streaming
• Share your stream link with your audience
• See listener count and chat in real-time
• Turn the microphone ON (green) in Input/Output so your voice is included in the stream

🤖 Autoplay Mode

• Enable Autoplay to automatically mix through your library
• Tracks will crossfade 8 seconds before ending
• Next tracks are pre-loaded for seamless transitions
• Click the button again to disable autoplay
